Lao Cai Trade Union officials learn how to do communication in the AI era

At the end of October 2026, the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation coordinated to organize many training sessions on AI application in trade union communication.

In the context of strong development of digital platforms, AI applications open up more opportunities to innovate propaganda methods, bringing information about trade union activities closer to union members and workers.

AI can support Trade Union officials in developing ideas, editing news and articles, proposing titles, designing images and building video scripts.

These tools are especially useful for grassroots trade union officials, who often concurrently take on many jobs, helping to save time and diversify communication forms.

However, technology is only effective when it comes with professional skills and the responsibility of users.

Products before being posted need to be reviewed for data, titles, legal regulations and compared with official sources; and at the same time ensure the safety of personal data and internal information.

Reality shows that the spread of trade union media is not only in the form of expression but also originates from true and close stories at the grassroots level.

Information about activities to care for union members, dialogue, improve working conditions or initiatives in labor and production needs to be reflected vividly, accurately and in accordance with the reception needs of workers.

Mr. Vu Cao Minh - Standing Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation - requested trade union officials at all levels to continue to innovate thinking, proactively learn, practice and flexibly apply communication skills.

Propaganda content needs to closely follow grassroots levels, promptly reflect the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers; strengthen the use of real-life images, short videos and visual forms to make information more accessible.
