In the first 9 months of the year, trade union levels newly established 14 grassroots trade unions, admitted 1,814 union members, exceeding the assigned target.
Along with expanding the organization, taking care of life, grasping petitions and protecting workers' rights are being implemented at units.

Thanks to that, she understands more clearly her rights and obligations in the working process.

In the career block, the grassroots Trade Union of Son La Newspaper and Radio and Television was established in June 2026, with 108 union members.
Mr. Nguyen Viet Anh, Vice Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union, said that the unit focuses on caring for and protecting the rights of union members, and at the same time linking the emulation movement with professional tasks, creating conditions for officials, civil servants, and employees to promote their capacity.

However, union member development still faces difficulties. Most businesses are small-scale, with dispersed labor, and some industries are seasonal. Meanwhile, grassroots trade union officials are mainly part-time, and the time spent on activities is still limited.

In the coming time, the Provincial Labor Federation will continue to expand the trade union organization, improve the quality of activities, contributing to protecting the rights and better caring for the lives of workers.
