Establish 8 more grassroots trade unions in Bau Bang commune and Di An ward
Ho Chi Minh City - The Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation has decided to establish 6 grassroots trade unions (CĐCS) in Di An ward and 2 CĐCS in Bau Bang commune.
On October 29th, Di An Ward Trade Union (HCMC) held a conference to award decisions on establishing grassroots trade unions in the area.
According to Di An Ward Trade Union, recently, the unit has strengthened access to businesses, mobilized the establishment of new grassroots trade unions at businesses in the area. As a result, 6 grassroots trade unions were established with 53 trade union members admitted.
According to Di An Ward Trade Union, the establishment of grassroots trade unions and the admission of new union members is the result of the process of propaganda, mobilization, and guidance for workers and businesses to learn about the Vietnam Trade Union organization; at the same time, it shows the concern and consensus of workers towards the establishment of representative organizations, caring for and protecting their legitimate and lawful rights and interests.
At the decision awarding ceremony, representatives of Di An Ward Trade Union announced and awarded the decision to establish the grassroots trade union, congratulating the units officially joining the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
Di An Ward Trade Union also guided the Executive Committee of the new grassroots trade union to gradually stabilize the organization, build operating regulations, promote the representative role of the Trade Union organization at enterprises and effectively manage union members; proactively coordinate with employers in caring for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers...
In Bau Bang commune, the Commune Trade Union also organized a conference to award decisions to establish the grassroots trade union of Bau Bang Transport Cooperative and Tien Dai Phat Production - Trading - Service Co., Ltd.
In the coming time, Bau Bang Commune Trade Union and Di An Ward Trade Union will continue to strengthen propaganda, mobilization, and guidance on establishing grassroots trade unions and developing union members. Thereby building an increasingly strong Trade Union organization, contributing to improving the effectiveness of trade union activities and performing well the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
