Establish another grassroots trade union in Tuyen Quang
Tuyen Quang - Nearly 1,200 workers and laborers were admitted to the trade union organization.
On October 28th, information from the Tuyen Quang Provincial Labor Federation, the grassroots Trade Union of Victory Sporting Goods Tuyen Quang Co., Ltd. held a Congress to establish the grassroots Trade Union.
Attending and directing the Congress were Mr. Trieu Tai Phong - Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; Mr. Ha Van Vy - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation and over 300 union members and employees of the Company.
The Congress approved the report on the process of mobilizing workers to join the trade union and the preparation for organizing the Congress to establish the grassroots trade union.
Announcing the list of employees who have applied to join the Trade Union; Decision to establish the grassroots trade union of Victory Sporting Goods Tuyen Quang Co., Ltd. with 1,169 trade union members (reaching 100% of employees joining the Trade Union organization).
Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Trieu Tai Phong said that the establishment of a trade union organization in the company is a necessary requirement to improve the effectiveness of caring for, representing, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and employees.
Leaders of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Labor Federation proposed that in the coming years, the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union needs to continue to affirm the representative role of the trade union organization, taking union members and workers as the center in all activities.
It is necessary to regularly grasp the employment situation, living conditions, and working conditions of workers; promptly participate in resolving legitimate petitions, ensuring the rights of union members in accordance with legal regulations.
Focus on developing union members, building strong trade union organizations, improving the quality of activities of the Executive Committee and promoting the spirit of responsibility of each union member and employee," Mr. Trieu Tai Phong emphasized.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union of Victory Sporting Goods Tuyen Quang Co., Ltd. including 11 comrades and elected the Chairman of the Company's grassroots Trade Union.
