Gifts that add motivation for female union members

For female union members in difficult circumstances, especially single mothers raising children or suffering from dangerous diseases, the concern of the Trade Union organization is not only material support but also a source of spiritual encouragement, helping them have more strength to overcome difficulties.

Union member Le Thi Thet, currently a teacher at a preschool facility in Hue City, is a single mother. For her, the concern from the Trade Union organization on occasions dedicated to women brings a feeling of warmth, companionship and sharing.

I feel very happy to be cared for and shared with during the holidays dedicated to women. People in my situation feel care, sharing and feel very warm," Ms. Thet expressed.

Union member Vu Thi Thu Huong was touched when receiving support gifts including cash and necessities from the Trade Union organization. She hopes that care programs will continue to be maintained, helping female union members in difficult circumstances have more motivation, stabilize their lives and feel secure in their work.

The Trade Union organizes very practical programs. On October 20th this year, we received gifts and words of encouragement again, we are very happy and have more motivation" - Ms. Huong said with tears in her eyes.

Hue City Labor Federation determines that caring for female union members and workers is one of the tasks that needs to be implemented regularly, associated with living conditions, jobs and the actual needs of each labor group.

One of the outstanding activities is organizing programs to support female union members in particularly difficult circumstances, suffering from dangerous diseases or raising children alone. Through giving gifts, practical support and connecting social resources, the Trade Union organization aims to share the burden ahead, and at the same time encourage women to continue to strive in work and life.

Expanding welfare, comprehensive care for female workers

In addition to direct support, Hue City Trade Union also focuses on building activities to care for the spiritual life, health and rights of union members. This approach aims to help workers not only overcome immediate difficulties but also have more conditions to protect their health, improve quality of life and long-term stability.

Ms. Tran Thi Kim Loan - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, Chairwoman of the Hue City Labor Federation, said that activities for female union members create opportunities for women to exchange, share experiences, access health care services and welfare programs. Through this, the Trade Union organization wishes to encourage women to confidently promote their abilities, and at the same time gradually balance work and family responsibilities.

Along with that, cooperation with service providers is considered a direction to expand benefits for union members. Recently, Hue City Labor Federation signed a cooperation agreement to implement a welfare program with 3 units including Niem Tin 17.4 Co., Ltd., Hue International General Hospital and Phuong Ty Tourism Transport Co., Ltd. Through cooperation programs, union members have more opportunities to access health care services, use products and services with appropriate preferential policies.

For female workers, physical health counseling, reproductive health, spiritual care and beauty activities also contribute to raising awareness about proactive self-care. These are practical contents, especially for those who have to both ensure work and shoulder the responsibility of taking care of children and family.

In the context that life and jobs still put a lot of pressure on a part of female workers, these activities further show the role of the Trade Union organization in accompanying, protecting the rights and caring for the lives of workers.
