Son La provides free specialized cancer examination and screening for 50 female workers
Son La - 50 female workers of 2 enterprises are supported by the Provincial Labor Federation for free medical examinations, health consultations, and cancer screening.
On October 18th, the Son La Provincial Labor Federation organized a program to provide free health check-ups, counseling, and cancer screening for 50 female union members at the Provincial General Hospital.
Union members who meet the conditions have families and are directly producing at Son La Sugar Joint Stock Company and Son La SL Co., Ltd.
This is an activity to care for the health of female union members, prioritizing people in difficult circumstances, suffering from dangerous diseases or working in a heavy and hazardous environment in Son La province.
At the program, female workers were given general internal examinations; eyes, ears, nose, throat, teeth, jaw; in-depth cancer screening tests, ultrasound and X-rays.
All package examination costs are paid by the Provincial Labor Federation from the trade union financial source in 2026.
Through the program, the Trade Union organization contributes to helping female workers detect early risks affecting their health, raise awareness of disease prevention and proactively take care of their own health.
