Establishment of the grassroots Trade Union of Lai Chau Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company
Lai Chau - Another grassroots trade union has just been established in the locality.
On November 2nd, the Lai Chau Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) organized a Conference to announce the Decision to establish the Grassroots Trade Union (CĐCS) of Lai Chau Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company, admitting 42 new union members.
Attending and directing the conference were Mr. Luong Xuan Truong - Chairman of Lai Chau Provincial Labor Federation. On the business side, there was Mr. Tran Hung Cuong - Director of the company and all employees.
At the conference, representatives of the Provincial Labor Federation announced and awarded decisions to establish grassroots trade unions, appoint the interim Executive Committee and admit 42 workers to the Trade Union organization.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation also presented gifts to encourage union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
Speaking to assign tasks, Mr. Luong Xuan Truong congratulated the new union members, emphasizing that this is an important step in meeting the legitimate aspirations of workers.
The Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation requested the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union to soon stabilize the organization, build regulations to coordinate with the Board of Directors and perform well the core role: representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers; and at the same time launch emulation movements "Good Labor, Creative Labor", accompanying the unit to develop.
Representing the business, Mr. Tran Hung Cuong committed to creating the most favorable conditions for the trade union organization to operate effectively, towards building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
