Organizing occupational safety training for workers
Quang Tri - Sepon Group organizes occupational safety and health training, equips workers with knowledge and skills to prevent risks.
On October 31st, the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation said that Quang Tri Trading Company (Sepon Group) has just organized a training program on occupational safety and health (ATVSLĐ) with the participation of a large number of officials, employees and workers of member units.
This is a periodic training activity to raise awareness, responsibility and skills in preventing labor accidents and occupational diseases in the production and business process.
The program was implemented by Sepon Group on two days, October 29 and 30, in two areas, creating conditions for employees in affiliated units to participate.
On October 29th, training activities took place at the hall of Huong Hoa Cassava Starch Factory, for workers of Huong Hoa Cassava Starch Factory, Sepon Hotel and Lao Bao Branch.
On October 30th, the program will continue to be held at the General Corporation Office hall, for officials, employees and workers in Dong Ha area and neighboring areas.
Participants in training include heads of units, management officials, people in charge of labor safety, people doing work with strict requirements on labor safety and direct workers in production and business departments.
The training content focuses on disseminating legal regulations on OSH; responsibilities of employers and employees in ensuring safety at the workplace.
At the same time, participants are equipped with knowledge to identify dangerous and harmful factors; methods of preventing workplace accidents and skills to handle situations that may arise during work.
Notably, besides theoretical content, the program also includes practical guidance on first aid skills, supporting victims, thereby helping workers improve their ability to respond when incidents occur, limiting the consequences caused by work accidents.
In parallel with training work, Sepon Group requires affiliated units to review machinery and equipment with strict requirements for labor safety; make a list of equipment that has not been inspected or has expired the inspection period to implement according to regulations.
Units are also required to review the land-connection resistance inspection period of the lightning protection system, perform maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment before inspection to ensure safe operating conditions.
Combining training in knowledge and skills with controlling the safety of machinery and equipment is identified by Sepon Group as one of the risk prevention solutions in production and business activities.
Through the program, businesses aim to raise awareness of compliance with regulations on OSH of each official, employee, and laborer; gradually build a safe and professional working environment, contributing to stabilizing production and sustainable development.
