Bac Ninh trains skills to ensure worker security for trade union officials

Accordingly, at the Trade Union Workers' Counseling and Support Center, the Bac Ninh City Labor Federation coordinated with the City Police to organize a training conference, fostering knowledge to ensure worker security for grassroots trade union officials.

Speaking at the opening and directly conveying the topic at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Vice Chairman of Bac Ninh City Labor Federation requested to focus on clarifying the role and responsibility of grassroots trade union officials in performing the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.

The thematic content emphasizes that grassroots trade unions are close organizations, directly grasping the thoughts and aspirations of workers; and at the same time are an important bridge between workers and employers.

At the conference, Mr. Chu Ba Huy - Deputy Head of the Economic Security Department, Bac Ninh City Police, conveyed a thematic report on basic issues in ensuring worker security; the role and responsibility of Party committees, authorities, functional agencies and trade union organizations in preventing, detecting, and coordinating to resolve cases related to worker security.

The reporter focused on analyzing the factors affecting the current worker security situation, especially issues related to employment, income, policies, working conditions, relationships between employees and employers and the impact of information on social networks.

At the same time, trainees are guided on skills to identify abnormal signs, classify the causes of disputes and on-site handling procedures including five steps: detection, access, reporting, dialogue and monitoring.
