Khanh Hoa - Functional agencies have just organized occupational safety and health training for more than 300 officials and employees.

On September 25, Khanh Hoa Power Joint Stock Company (KHPC) in coordination with the Central Power College (CEPC) organized occupational safety and health training for more than 300 employees of group 4 throughout the Company.

The activity is organized to raise awareness, knowledge and skills about occupational safety and health (ATVSLĐ) for workers.

Occupational safety is one of the top requirements set by KHPC in production and business activities. With the specific nature of work that contains many risks, equipping workers with knowledge and skills on OSH is to meet current regulations, and at the same time raise awareness of proactively preventing accidents in the working process.

The training program is implemented by KHPC based on the provisions of law on OSH, including Decree 44/2016/ND-CP dated May 15, 2016 of the Government detailing a number of articles of the Law on Occupational Safety and Health on occupational safety technical inspection activities, occupational safety and health training and labor environment monitoring.

During the training period, officials and employees are disseminated and updated on content related to OSH; identifying dangerous and harmful factors in the working process; and learning about risk prevention and control measures.

The training content is implemented in accordance with each target group according to regulations, associated with the specific production and business activities of the Electricity industry.

To ensure that training work is implemented seriously and effectively, KHPC leaders request subordinate units to create conditions for staff and employees to fully participate in the program as planned. In case of absence without legitimate reasons, they must proactively contact CEPC to be arranged for retraining according to regulations.

With the spirit of "Safety is paramount", KHPC continues to focus on building and spreading a safety culture throughout the Company. Through this, each employee is enhanced in their ability to identify, prevent and control risks right at work.

This is also the basis for KHPC to build a safe and professional working environment, contributing to protecting the health and lives of workers and ensuring continuous, stable and effective production and business activities.
