Delegation of Trade Unions of 5 Northern Provinces of Laos exchanges experiences in Dien Bien
Dien Bien - On the morning of September 25, the delegation of the Union of Trade Unions of 5 northern provinces of Laos had activities to visit and exchange experiences at 2 grassroots trade unions (CĐCS).
Within the framework of the program in Dien Bien province, the delegation of the Union of Trade Unions of 5 Northern Laos provinces (Luang Prabang, Luang Namtha, Bo Keo, Udomxay and Phong Sa Ly) visited and exchanged trade union activities at the Trade Union of the Provincial General Hospital and the Trade Union of Dien Bien College.
At Dien Bien Provincial General Hospital, the delegation was briefly introduced by hospital leaders and grassroots trade unions about the situation of cadres, civil servants, employees and trade union activities.
With 512 union members operating in 33 trade union groups, the Hospital Trade Union focuses on effectively implementing the work of caring for, representing, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers. At the same time, linking emulation movements with professional tasks, improving the quality of medical examination and treatment and people's health care.
The delegation also exchanged views on propaganda and mobilization of union members, caring for life, organizing cultural and sports activities, emulation movements, digital transformation and community-oriented activities.
Mr. Bui Duc Phuong - Deputy Director, Chairman of the Trade Union of Dien Bien Provincial General Hospital also shared practical experiences in organizing trade union activities at the unit.
At the Trade Union of Dien Bien College, Mr. Hoang Thanh Nghi, Vice Rector - Chairman of the school's Trade Union, also introduced the organization, team of officials, employees, and laborers, and the work of caring for and protecting union members.
Along with that are propaganda and mobilization activities and emulation movements associated with education and training tasks; sharing experiences in coordination between Trade Unions and professionals, caring for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers and building grassroots Trade Union organizations.
Through the field visit and exchange program, trade union officials from both sides had the opportunity to share their methods and experiences in caring for union members, organizing emulation movements and building trade union organizations at the grassroots level.
The activity contributes to concretizing the cooperation content between the Dien Bien Provincial Labor Federation and the Union of Trade Unions of 5 Northern Laos provinces, and at the same time continues to foster the relationship of solidarity, friendship and cooperation between the trade union organizations of the two sides.
