Bac Ninh - Can Tho Trade Union shares ways to do things and improve the efficiency of caring for workers
The working delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Can Tho City Labor Federation visited and worked in Bac Ninh.
On September 28, 2026, Ms. Thai Thu Xuong - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and a delegation from the Can Tho City Labor Federation visited and worked with the Bac Ninh City Labor Federation and Goertek Vietnam Company.
At the working session with the Bac Ninh City Labor Federation, leaders of the City Labor Federation quickly informed about the situation of union members and workers and outstanding results in trade union activities in the past time; and shared some experiences in innovating content and methods of operation, strongly focusing on grassroots levels and improving the effectiveness of caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
Notably, the Bac Ninh City Labor Federation introduced Mini Zalo App "Bac Ninh Trade Union" - a solution to apply technology and digital transformation in trade union activities, contributing to strengthening connection, providing information and bringing care and welfare activities closer to union members and workers.
Representatives of the Can Tho City Labor Federation also provided general information on the results of trade union activities recently. The two units exchanged experiences and ways of organizing emulation movements, caring for union members and workers, developing union members, building grassroots trade unions and applying digital transformation in trade union activities.
Next, Ms. Thai Thu Xuong and the working delegation visited and worked at Goertek Vietnam Company.
Speaking at the working session, Ms. Thai Thu Xuong emphasized the strengthening of coordination between businesses, trade union organizations and relevant agencies to create stable jobs and take better care of the lives, incomes and rights of workers.
She requested the grassroots trade union to continue to closely coordinate with the Company's Board of Directors, promote the role of representing, caring for, and protecting workers; and at the same time encourage union members and workers to actively promote initiatives and technical improvements, contributing to reducing time and costs, and improving labor productivity.
The effectiveness of initiatives and improvements needs to be linked to improving income, welfare and improving working conditions for workers, thereby creating motivation for workers to stick with and accompany businesses.
Ms. Thai Thu Xuong also proposed that businesses and trade union organizations continue to build harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations; pay attention to Party development work, promote the role of party members in enterprises, and create a favorable environment for workers to feel secure in working and contributing to the overall development.
On this occasion, the delegation presented 100 gifts to union members and employees of Goertek Vietnam Company.
The gifts show the concern and care of the Trade Union organization for workers, and are also a source of encouragement for union members and workers to continue their efforts in labor, production, and attachment to businesses.
