Establishment of the grassroots Trade Union of Gia Nghi Textile and Garment Co., Ltd
Quang Tri - The grassroots trade union of Gia Nghi Textile and Garment Co., Ltd. was established with 23 union members, Ms. Pham Thi Diem My holds the position of Chairwoman.
On September 25, the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation said that it had just organized a ceremony to announce the decision to recognize union members and establish the grassroots trade union of Gia Nghi Textile and Garment Co., Ltd.
Attending the ceremony were Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Tuyet - Member of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation, Deputy Head of the Trade Union Affairs Committee; representatives of the Company and all union members and employees.
At the ceremony, the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation announced and awarded the decision to establish the grassroots Trade Union of Gia Nghi Textile and Garment Co., Ltd., admitting 23 union members; and appointed the Executive Committee and positions in the Executive Committee. Ms. Pham Thi Diem My was appointed to hold the position of Chairwoman of the grassroots Trade Union.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Tuyet said that the establishment of the grassroots trade union will be a bridge between workers and company leaders, contributing to protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests and caring for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.
At the same time, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Tuyet requested the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union to soon develop operating regulations, assign specific tasks to each member; develop programs and operating plans suitable to the actual situation, ensuring efficiency.
On this occasion, the Provisional Trade Union Executive Committee was launched and expressed its determination to perform the assigned tasks well. Representatives of Gia Nghi Textile and Garment Co., Ltd. also presented Tet gifts to union members and workers.
