Sunshine (Vietnam) Leisure Products launches socialist grassroots trade union model

On September 26, Sunshine (Vietnam) Leisure Products Co., Ltd. (Dai An Expanded Industrial Park, Hai Phong City) organized the launch of the "Socialist Grassroots Trade Union" model for the period 2026 - 2030.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Quach Thi Ngoc Bich - Chairwoman of the grassroots trade union of Sunshine (Vietnam) Leisure Products Co., Ltd. said that Sunshine (Vietnam) Leisure Products Co., Ltd. is a 100% foreign-owned enterprise, with investment capital from China, belonging to Sunshine Group - a group operating in the field of outdoor furniture, with production and business activities in many countries.

The company operates in the expanded Dai An Industrial Park, specializing in outdoor furniture production. The company's products are mainly supplied to retail systems such as Target, Walmart, Kohl's.

Over the past time, the company's production and business situation has been basically stable; jobs, income and regimes and policies for employees have been maintained. The company currently has 718 employees, including 452 female employees, accounting for 63%; 189 out-of-province employees and 120 employees doing heavy, hazardous, and dangerous jobs. The average income of employees is about 12 million VND/person/month.

With the characteristic of production on a production line, high requirements for skills, productivity, quality, discipline and labor safety, workers at the company are increasingly in need of stable jobs, income, working conditions, health, welfare, spiritual and cultural life and improving qualifications and skills.

In addition, the requirement to improve productivity, quality, ensure safety, promote initiatives and build a disciplined and responsible workforce is also increasingly clearly posed for businesses and trade union organizations.

The launch of the "Socialist Grassroots Trade Union" model for the period 2026 - 2030 aims to continue to promote the role of the Trade Union organization in accompanying businesses, caring for life, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.

Through the model, grassroots trade unions continue to coordinate with businesses to build a stable and safe working environment; encourage workers to improve their skills, discipline and responsibility in work, promote initiatives, contributing to improving productivity and production quality.

At the program, the Company's Board of Directors and the Company's Trade Union Executive Committee signed a commitment to coordinate the implementation of the "Socialist Grassroots Trade Union" model in the period 2026 - 2030.

On this occasion, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation presented gifts to workers, contributing to encouraging union members and workers and caring for the spiritual life at the enterprise.
