Toyo Denso Trade Union launches model associated with caring for workers
Hai Phong - On the morning of September 28, the Trade Union of Toyo Denso Vietnam Co., Ltd. organized the launch of the "Socialist Grassroots Trade Union" model for the period 2026 - 2030.
According to the report at the conference, Toyo Denso Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Nam Sach Industrial Park, Ai Quoc Ward, Hai Phong City) is a 100% Japanese-invested enterprise, belonging to TOYO DENSO Group, operating in the field of manufacturing electronic components for automobiles and motorbikes in Nam Sach Industrial Park. The company's products are mainly supplied to Honda.
Currently, the Company has 1,885 employees, including 1,391 female employees, accounting for 74%; 57 out-of-province employees; 768 workers working in shifts and 112 workers doing heavy, hazardous, and dangerous jobs. The average income of employees is about 12 million VND/person/month.
The Company's Trade Union currently has 1,793 union members out of a total of 1,885 employees; 100% of employees eligible to join the Trade Union have been gathered into the organization. The Trade Union Executive Committee has 8 members, with 20 Trade Union groups and Divisional Trade Unions.
At the program, the Trade Union of Toyo Denso Vietnam Co., Ltd. performed the launching ceremony of the "Socialist Grassroots Trade Union" model for the period 2026 - 2030 and signed to implement the contents of the model.
This is the basis for the Trade Union and businesses to coordinate in implementing the criteria and tasks set out, associated with caring for life, protecting workers' rights and improving the efficiency of production and business activities.
The launch of the "Socialist Grassroots Trade Union" model for the period 2026 - 2030 aims to continue to improve the quality of Trade Union activities, promote the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the rights of workers; and at the same time create an environment for union members to promote initiatives, improve productivity, quality, discipline and responsibility in work.
Through the model, the Company's Trade Union aims to build harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations; linking caring for workers with improving production and business efficiency and building a strong Trade Union organization.
On this occasion, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation presented gifts to workers, contributing to encouraging union members and workers and caring for the spiritual life at the enterprise.
