Petrovietnam Trade Union pays attention to social security work
Hanoi - Petrovietnam Trade Union always pays attention to social security work, taking care of the young generation, especially students in areas with many difficulties.
One of the social security activities recently implemented by Petrovietnam Trade Union is coordinating to organize the Mid-Autumn Festival for students of Petrovietnam Primary & Secondary Boarding School - Phong Tho (Lai Chau).
On this occasion, Petrovietnam Trade Union presented notebooks, mooncakes, and 1,100 warm coats from the Trade Union of Ca Mau Petroleum Fertilizer Corporation (PVCFC). Each gift was prepared with the desire to bring children joy and a warm and meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival.
In the Mid-Autumn Festival program, students participated in many fun activities, exchanges and received meaningful gifts. This is not only an opportunity for them to play and enjoy the atmosphere of the full moon festival but also an encouragement and motivation for them in the process of studying and training.
The Petrovietnam - Phong Tho Primary & Secondary Boarding School Project was started on August 19, 2025 with a total investment of 280 billion VND. Of which, Petrovietnam sponsored 245 billion VND, the remaining capital from the local budget and socialization to serve site clearance and power line relocation.
In the 2026 - 2027 school year, the school enrolled 1,050 students, including 490 primary school students and 560 secondary school students; including 860 boarding students and 190 semi-boarding students.
