Talking to PV, Mr. Tran Xuan Lay - Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of Lam Vien Vinh Phuc Industrial Co., Ltd. - said that in the past time, the Trade Union has regularly disseminated regulations on labor safety to union members and workers.

According to Mr. Lay, the concept of safety today is not only limited to ensuring in the production process but also associated with health, working conditions and safety in daily life.

Mr. Ngo Anh Tuan, a worker at Thuy Van Industrial Park, said that workers are regularly informed about the use of protective clothing and equipment and compliance with safety regulations at the workplace. The enterprise also organizes periodic health checks for workers.

These activities contribute to helping workers raise awareness of self-protection, while proactively preventing risks that may occur during work.

Phu Tho Provincial Labor Federation said that propaganda, dissemination, and training on labor law and occupational safety and health are regularly deployed to grassroots trade unions.

Recently, on September 25, 2026, at the Trade Union Hall of Thuy Van Industrial Park, the Standing Committee of the Phu Tho Provincial Labor Federation organized a training class on propaganda and dissemination of laws for grassroots Trade Union officials.

At the program, Ms. Le Thi Thanh Ngan - Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Support Department for Participants, Phu Tho Provincial Social Insurance - directly conveyed and updated the basic contents and points to note in policies and laws on labor.

The training content focuses on the new regulations of the 2024 Law on Social Insurance and policies directly related to the rights and interests of union members and workers.

Reporters spend time exchanging, discussing and answering practical issues arising in the policy implementation process at enterprises.

Through this, grassroots Trade Union officials have more knowledge to identify, grasp and handle issues related to the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.

Caring for workers creates motivation to stick together

According to the Phu Tho Provincial Labor Federation, right from the beginning of 2026, the unit has assigned specific targets and tasks to directly affiliated trade union levels.

In the work of building institutions and implementing democracy at the grassroots level, the whole province recorded 1,160 agencies and businesses implementing grassroots democracy regulations, reaching 116%. There are 1,160 units organizing employee conferences and 1,030 units issuing collective labor agreements, reaching 81%.

Along with that, 1,073 businesses organized direct dialogues at the workplace. This activity creates conditions for workers to exchange thoughts and aspirations, and at the same time helps employers grasp issues arising in the production and business process.

Along with protecting labor rights and safety, Phu Tho Trade Union implements many activities to care for the material and spiritual life of union members.

From the beginning of the year to now, 54 grassroots trade unions have successfully negotiated to adjust lunch meals, reaching 75%. 77% of grassroots trade unions have organized practical activities to respond to Workers' Month.

Overtime meals are one of the contents that workers are interested in because they are directly related to health and the ability to regenerate labor. Negotiating to improve meal quality also demonstrates the representative role of the Trade Union in protecting the rights of union members at enterprises.

In addition, cultural and sports activities are organized to create space for exchange, health training and strengthen the connection between workers, civil servants, and laborers.

Taking care of spiritual life is also associated with creating an environment for workers to promote their capacity and creativity in production.

The emulation movement "Good labor, creative labor" launched by the Trade Union organization has encouraged union members to research, improve techniques, and improve productivity and work efficiency. The number of initiatives applied in practice reached 196% compared to the plan.

Reality at the grassroots level shows that when legitimate and lawful rights and interests are concerned, working conditions are gradually improved, workers have more motivation to stick with businesses and promote their abilities in work.

In the coming time, trade union levels throughout the province will continue to closely follow grassroots levels, grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers at grassroots trade unions in production and business sectors and administrative and non-budgetary public service units.

The Trade Union will urge and support negotiation and signing of collective labor agreements and implement the Law on Implementation of Democracy at the grassroots level. Legal advice, visits to union members in difficult circumstances, people injured in labor accidents and improving the quality of lunch meals continue to be maintained.
