Dak Lak female union member supported by trade union to build a new home after nearly 6 years of renting a room
Dak Lak - A female union member in difficult circumstances in the area has been supported to build a "Trade Union Shelter" after many years of renting a room.
On September 27, Hoa Phu Commune Trade Union, Dak Lak province informed that the unit had just organized the handover of 2 "Trade Union Shelter" houses to union members in difficult housing circumstances with a total support cost of 140 million VND.
The first house was awarded to union member Dao Thi Nguyet, belonging to the grassroots Trade Union of My Viet International Group Joint Stock Company. Ms. Nguyet is the main breadwinner in the family, her husband does not have a stable job, and her two children are still young. For many years, her family has had to rent a room.
From the Fund to Support Trade Union Members, Workers, Civil Servants, and Laborers of Dak Lak Provincial Trade Union, Ms. Nguyet was supported with 70 million VND to build a house. The level 4 house has a usable area of 110m2, built in Trung Tam village, Nam Dong commune, Lam Dong province, with a total cost of 300 million VND.
Ms. Nguyet shared: "The timely support from the trade union organization has helped my family realize their dream of having a stable place to live after nearly 6 years of renting a room. From now on, my family has more conditions to feel secure in working, taking care of and raising our children.
The second house was handed over to union member Vo Hong Khac, belonging to the Trade Union of Dak Lak Provincial Mental Hospital, in Thanh Nhat ward, Dak Lak province.
The project is a level 4 house, with a usable area of 150m2, total construction cost of 350 million VND. Of which, the Provincial Labor Federation supported 70 million VND.
In the first 9 months of 2026, Hoa Phu Commune Trade Union considered and proposed to support the construction and repair of 9 "Trade Union Shelter" houses for union members in difficult circumstances, with a total budget of 610 million VND. Thereby, helping union members in difficult housing conditions to settle down and stabilize their lives.
