Thanh Hoa pays social security for hundreds of thousands of people through accounts from July 1st

On June 30, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that from July 1, the payment of social security benefits in the province will be carried out by functional sectors through bank accounts.

According to Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, after 1 month of focused implementation, up to now, the whole province has completed 100% of the targets for all groups of subjects within the scope of implementation.

The groups subject to payment include: more than 125,000 social protection beneficiaries; more than 116,000 social pension beneficiaries; more than 62,000 people with meritorious services; more than 116,000 people receiving pensions and social insurance and more than 146,000 people enjoying social security policies in the field of education. These groups have been registered to receive benefits through accounts.

Achieving the above results is the synchronous, responsible and effective involvement of the police, social insurance, departments, branches, banking system and local authorities. Within 1 month, hundreds of thousands of dossiers have been reviewed and data has been cleaned up; hundreds of thousands of new bank accounts have been opened, updated, and synchronized with the National Population Database and the VNeID application.

Notably, many working groups worked all day off, in the evening, directly going to each household to meet, propagate, guide, and support people to complete procedures.

According to Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, completing 100% of the targets before the deployment time is not only the result of the payment method conversion process, but also shows Thanh Hoa's determination in implementing Project 06 and national digital transformation.
