Coordinating to improve the effectiveness of social security policies for workers
Lam Dong - The Provincial Labor Federation and Social Insurance signed a coordination agreement to improve the effectiveness of implementing social security policies for union members and workers.
On the afternoon of March 23, the Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) and Lam Dong Provincial Social Insurance (BHXH) organized a conference to sign a plan to coordinate the implementation of policies and laws on social insurance, health insurance (BHYT), and unemployment insurance (BHTN) in 2026 for workers.
According to the signed content, the two sides strengthen propaganda and dissemination of policies and laws; mobilize union members and workers to participate in social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance, contributing to ensuring social security, towards the goal of universal insurance.
In 2026, key tasks include: Organizing the Social Insurance - Trade Union Law Legal Consulting Day in Workers' Month; a contest to learn about policies and laws; maintaining quarterly dialogue conferences between businesses and employees.
In addition, the two units coordinated to launch a movement to participate in voluntary social insurance and household health insurance; organized training for trade union officials; strengthened inspection and supervision of policy implementation at labor-using units.
Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation Nguyen Phu Hoang requested to focus on effectively implementing the signed contents; innovate propaganda, strengthen dialogue with businesses and workers.
Thereby improving the rate of participation in social insurance and health insurance in the area.
