Workers' Month 2026 associated with labor safety spreads widely in businesses

Coordinating to raise awareness of labor safety

According to the plan of the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation, the Launching Ceremony of Workers' Month associated with the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026 will take place at 5:30 PM on April 22 at Lefaso Tra Vinh Industrial Investment and Production Joint Stock Company (Tra Cu commune, Vinh Long province), with a scale of about 1,000 delegates attending.

The program has the participation of provincial leaders, departments, branches, businesses and a large number of union members and workers; in which it is expected that about 900 workers will participate and 300 workers in difficult circumstances will receive gifts.

Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation said that the organization of the launching ceremony aims to create highlights and widespread influence throughout the trade union system.

According to him, this year's Workers' Month does not only stop at caring for life but also pays special attention to occupational safety and hygiene, contributing to preventing accidents and occupational diseases in enterprises. "The activities must be practical, oriented towards the grassroots level, with workers as the center," he added.

In parallel, propaganda work is promoted through many forms such as newspapers, social networks, and trade union activities, in order to raise legal awareness and self-protection awareness of workers in the working process.

Diverse activities to care for and improve safety

In addition to the launching ceremony, Workers' Month 2026 is implemented with many diverse activities such as the "May Dialogue", "Trade Union Meal", "Thank you to workers", or activities to visit and support workers in difficult circumstances.

These programs not only care for life but also are associated with improving working conditions, improving the quality of meals, the working environment, contributing to ensuring health and safety for workers in enterprises.

Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh said that trade union levels will strengthen coordination with businesses to inspect and supervise the implementation of regulations on labor safety, and at the same time launch a technical innovation movement to minimize risks in production.

Mr. Le Duy Khuong - General Director of Lefaso Tra Vinh Production Investment Joint Stock Company said that the enterprise always closely coordinates with the trade union in organizing activities to care for and ensure safety for workers.

According to him, businesses focus on investing in protective equipment, improving working conditions and organizing periodic training on occupational safety and health. "Ensuring safety for workers is the key factor to help businesses develop sustainably," Mr. Khuong added.
