On this occasion, the VGCL proposed a number of issues that the Vietnam Trade Union and the Norwegian Trade Union need to continue to maintain and promote traditional and good cooperative relations in a more effective direction, to better protect the rights of workers and promote social progress and justice.

In which, the two sides continue to maintain delegation exchanges at all levels, contact and meetings on the sidelines of multilateral activities to enhance mutual understanding, share timely information and experiences in trade union activities and issues related to workers in the current context.

Strengthen cooperation in areas of mutual concern, such as promoting social dialogue, improving the quality of collective bargaining; gathering and protecting informal workers, workers on technology platforms; strengthening social insurance, social security, and welfare policies for workers; vocational training to help workers adapt to the context of digital transformation, green transformation, energy transition; promoting gender equality...

Strengthen cooperation in training and fostering trade union officials to improve skills and capacity, meeting the requirements in the new context.

The VGCL also requested LO Norway to continue to pay attention and support the implementation of the "Social Partnership for Decent Work" project that has been implemented very effectively in Vietnam in the 2024-2025 period.
