How to calculate salary from July when the base salary is expected to be 2,530,000 VND
Below is the salary calculation method from July 1, 2026 when the base salary is expected to be 2,530,000 VND for cadres, civil servants, and public employees.
Currently, salaries of cadres, civil servants, and public employees are calculated according to the formula specified in Circular 07/2024/TT-BNV:
Salary = Current salary coefficient x Base salary 2. 340,000 VND/month.
In which, the base salary specified in Decree 73/2024/ND-CP is 2,340,000 VND/month.
The salary coefficient of cadres, civil servants, and public employees is specified in Decree 204/2004/ND-CP.
At the same time, the Government has drafted a Decree stipulating the base salary and bonus regime for cadres, civil servants, public employees and armed forces.
According to the Draft Decree, from July 1, 2026, the base salary is 2,530,000 VND/month.
Thus, if there are no changes in the method of calculating salaries of cadres, civil servants, public employees and the newly approved and applied base salary level, from July 1, 2026, salaries of cadres, civil servants, public employees are calculated according to the formula:
Salary = Current salary coefficient x Base salary 2. 530,000 VND/month.
