National and international trade union organizations congratulate the 14th National Party Congress

In particular, Secretary General of the World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU) Pambis Kyritsis highly appreciated the historical achievements of the Vietnamese people under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, especially the 40 years of Doi Moi, which have contributed to the decision on national independence, social progress, economic development and improving the lives and working conditions of the Vietnamese working class. WFTU believes that the 14th National Congress of the young generation will continue to strengthen the socialist orientation in national development, promote social justice, peace and international solidarity, and contribute to the fight of the working class around the world against exploitation, socialism and all forms of injustice. WFTU reaffirms its strong solidarity with the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and Vietnamese workers, and sends best wishes to the Congress, wishing the Congress a great success.

General Secretary of the International Trade Union for Construction, Construction Materials and Wood (UITBB) Michalis Papanikolaou affirmed: The Congress is a particularly important political event for the Party, State and People of Vietnam. The Congress is of decisive significance in continuing to make progress towards realizing ambitious goals in the cause of national construction and development, not allowing the intervention ofimperialism, steadfastly following the path of socialism; and believing that the Congress will pass important decisions, bringing Vietnam to continue to achieve greater achievements in the new era.

General Secretary of the International Agricultural and Rural Trade Union (UIS TAACT) Freedy Huck believes that in the context of a volatile, complex and unpredictable world, "The upcoming Party Central Committee will successfully implement ambitious decisions for the benefit of Vietnamese workers and people".

This congress marks an important turning point for Vietnam, to evaluate the results of decades of innovation and propose future development directions for the country, said Ms. Kate Lee, Executive Director of the Australian People's Organization for Health, Education and Development for Maritime Affairs (Union Aid Abroad - APHEDA). We highly appreciate the core role of the Communist Party of Vietnam in achieving the country's social, economic and political progress, we also highly appreciate the contributions of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to represent and promote the rights of the working people throughout this journey".

President of the Cuban Workers' Center (CTC) Osay Miguel Colina Rodriguez recalled that on September 15, 1973, President Fidel defied all dangers to visit the liberation zone of South Vietnam in Quang Tri province, with the desire to witness the fierce battlefield and the heroic struggle of the Vietnamese people. He was the first and only head of state to visit this Southeast Asian country during the war; there, he declared: "For Vietnam, Cuba is ready to donate its whole blood". The Chairman of the JSC emphasized that the historic relationship between Cuba and Vietnam is a good relationship at the highest level in all aspects of the Party, government and trade unions and reaffirmed continuing to strengthen these relations, resolutely maintaining a peaceful and independent environment, with the spirit of solidarity and internationalism.

In the letter, Comrade Leth Xayyaphone, member of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, President of the Central Committee of the Lao Federation of Trade Unions (LFTU) "heartfully congratulated the great achievements in the cause of socio-economic development during the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the 40th anniversary of Doi Moi, and the 5 years of organizing and implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party under the wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the prestige and position of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam has been increasingly enhanced in the international and regional arena. Those achievements affirm the correct and creative direction of the Communist Party of Vietnam, demonstrating the resilient and steadfast revolutionary spirit in the face of all difficulties and challenges, bringing happiness to the people... As close friends and comrades who share the revolutionary ideals, the Central Committee of the Lao Trade Union Federation... firmly believes that, under the wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Vietnamese people will continue to achieve many new and greater achievements, successfully implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Congress.

The Board of Directors of the General Confederation of Labor (ACFTU) assessed: Under the strong leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has united and led a large number of workers to actively participate in building and developing the country, firmly following the path of socialist development, achieving many important achievements, making great contributions to socio-economic development and expressing deep admiration for those achievements. I believe that, under the correct leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Vietnam will continue to steadfastly follow the path of socialism, develop a prosperous country, constantly improve people's lives, and make steady progress towards the goal of striving for "two hundred years" to build the Party and build the country".

President of the National Federation of Trade Unions of Cambodia (NACC) Soung Houths praised Under the leadership of General Secretary To Lam, the Communist Party of Vietnam has succeeded in leading the country to innovate and develop in the socialist orientation, contributing to promoting stability and prosperity. The General Secretary affirmed his determination to inherit and promote the revolutionary achievements at the 13th National Party Congress to continue to ensure the country's sustainable and strong development in the new era. I believe the General Secretary's commitment will help the two countries become good neighbors, live in harmony, and are close brothers".

In a congress welcoming speech, the President of the Cambodia Trade Union Federation (CCTU) expressed his confidence that "the congress will discuss and decide on important policies and solutions to continue to protect and promote the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers, through creating better job opportunities, higher income, and improved social welfare in the coming years".

Secretary General of the All-India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) Amarjeet Khaur praised: The Communist Party of Vietnam is a shining example of revolutionary resilience, clarity of ideology and dedicated leadership. From the heroic struggles against colonialism, against French domination and the brutal invasion of the US to the historic victory of national reunification and national independence, the Vietnamese people under the steadfast leadership of the Party have written a heroic chapter in the history of world communism. Vietnam's victory over the Imperial invasion remains a beacon of faith and hope for the oppressed, the working class and the left-wing parties. Vietnam stands firm as an undeniable symbol of hope, affirming that socialism is not invincible and can be overthrown by the organized struggle of the people... In the context of unpredictable political fluctuations, Vietnam's achievements in the cause of national construction, poverty reduction, expansion of social welfare, education, health care, and consolidation of national sovereignty are proof of the victory of Marxism-Leninism. Despite external pressure and constant challenges from within, Vietnam has proven that the path of development in the socialist direction, under the leadership of the Communist Party, can bring stability, growth and improve the lives of the masses, while firmly protecting national independence".

The Executive Committee of the National Federation of Trade Unions of Japan (ZENROREN) believes that the Congress will be a great success and bring many positive results to the working class in Vietnam and Japan.

President of the Federation of Labor of Belarus (FTUB) Yury Senko said: The Communist Party of Vietnam has led the Vietnamese people through many important historical milestones with steadfast and progressive leadership. The harmonious combination of consistency in ideology and solidarity has helped the Communist Party of Vietnam always be flexible and effective in responding to the challenges of the times. This approach ensures Vietnam's economic growth and social stability - factors that have survival significance for workers and their families".

The leadership of the LAB Trade Union of the Land of theat said: From the Land of theat - a nation that is continuing the struggle for social justice, the rights of workers, national recognition and the right to self-determination of peoples - we always follow with deep concern and great respect for Vietnam's experience. The steadfast struggle of the Vietnamese people against colonialism andimperialism, along with the commitment to peace, independence and development associated with social justice, is always a source of persistent inspiration for the working class and oppressed peoples around the world The LAB Trade Union reiterated the importance of strengthening the connection between workers organizations, mass movements and progressive forces around the world; and expressed its desire to continue developing solidarity and cooperation with the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Vietnamese working class.

Mr. Kudratilla Rafikov, President of the Uzbek Trade Union Union (FTUU), Honorary President of the Organization of the Turkic Nations, Uzbek Senate acknowledged that through decades of implementing the Innovation line, Vietnam has achieved truly unprecedented breakthroughs, and has been assessed by the international community as an economic crust. Comparative analysis clearly shows the scale of these achievements: if in 1986, at the time of the start of the reform, Vietnam's GDP only reached about 20.6 billion USD, then by early 2026, this figure had impressively surpassed the 500 billion USD mark, equivalent to an increase of more than 80 times" and sent a warm congratulation to the Congress, considering this "a milestone of special significance in the country's political career, strategic orientation for Vietnam's next development".

Mr. Wolfgang Katzian, President of the Austrian General Confederation of Labor (OGB), President of the European Union (ETUC) said that the European people are also very interested in the development of Vietnam. The current global political context more than ever requires the connection of peace-loving and constructive forces. This force must include the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Communist Party of Vietnam and comrade To Lam personally as General Secretary.
