The revolutionary land of Co Do sends full confidence in the 14th National Party Congress
Can Tho - During the 14th National Party Congress, the revolutionary land of Co Do sent its full confidence in the decisions for the new development stage.
During the 14th National Congress of the Party, cadres, Party members and People of Co Do commune - where the first Party Cell of the Can Tho City Party Committee was established - expressed their confidence and expectations for the policies and decisions for the new period.

Representing the young generation, Mr. Nguyen Khanh Dang - Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Co Do commune - hopes that the 14th Congress will continue to pay attention to and issue practical mechanisms and policies for union members and young people, especially in the fields of startups, career establishment, innovation and digital transformation.

According to Mr. Nguyen Khanh Dang, if there are appropriate orientations and policies, the younger generation will continue to promote their pioneering and creative role, actively contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.



With that same belief, Mr. Thach Sang - cadres and Party members of Co Do commune - hopes that the 14th National Congress will continue to pay more deep attention to ethnic minority areas.
Mr. Thach Sang suggested that the Party and the State continue to improve policies on housing, health insurance, tuition fees, transport infrastructure, and schools in disadvantaged areas.

Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper reporter, Mr. Lu Thanh Hien - Permanent Vice Chairman of Co Do Commune People's Committee (Can Tho City) - affirmed that the 14th National Party Congress opened up important strategic orientations for the country in the new period.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Co Do commune hopes that the Congress's resolutions will soon be concretized with practical action programs, creating conditions for cadres to work with peace of mind and for people to stabilize production, especially in the context of developing the two-level local government model.
The An Nam Communist Party Cell of Co Do was established on November 10, 1929, in the old Co Do district, the first Party cell of the Can Tho Party Committee, with comrade Ha Huy Giap as Secretary. This is also one of the three predecessor organizations of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Previously, on October 31, 2013, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued a decision to rank the location of the An Nam Communist Party Cell of Co Do as a National Historical Site. Currently, the relic site is a place for sightseeing, studying, traditional activities, cultural, artistic and sports activities of people of all walks of life and tourists from near and far.
