Creative labor from the grassroots

At 4am, on the streets of Thanh Vinh and Truong Vinh wards, Ms. Pham Thi Lien (born in 1992), a worker at Nghe An Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company, started her shift. The job of sweeping the streets is hard, but for Ms. Lien, it is a source of pride to contribute to maintaining a green - clean - beautiful urban area.

"We work with peace of mind because we have full protection, and are cared for and supported by the Union and businesses in times of difficulty," Ms. Lien shared.

In the western area of Nghe An, at TH true MILK Clean Milk Processing Factory, Mr. Cao Minh Hoa - Technical Director of TH Milk Joint Stock Company - is a typical image of the intellectual labor class in the industrialization period. Known as the " sang tao vua", Mr. Hoa and his colleagues designed and put into operation the Delta robot system with a capacity of 12,000 bags of milk per hour, replacing 24 manual workers, helping businesses save tens of billions of VND in investment costs.

The most important thing is that Vietnamese people have mastered core technology right in Vietnam, Mr. Hoa emphasized. According to him, each technical initiative not only brings economic efficiency but is also a specific action in response to the creative emulation movement, achieving achievements to celebrate the Party Congress.

When workers master technology, improve productivity and product quality, it is also our way of contributing to building sustainable development of businesses, thereby contributing to the overall development of the country, Mr. Hoa shared.

Many initiatives bring practical benefits

At Innovation Precision Vietnam Co., Ltd. (VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park), Mr. Duong Hoang Dung (born in 1988), an equipment maintenance employee, is the author of two initiatives that bring a profit of about 500 million VND to the enterprise. From using scrap steel to make auxiliary tools, to solutions to use internal human resources to install factory items instead of hiring subcontractors, Mr. Dung's initiatives all come from production practice.

I just think simply, what I can do should I do by myself, both saving costs and being proactive in work, said Mr. Dung.

In the garment sector, Mr. Pham Nguyen (born in 1984), a maintenance worker at Minh Anh Kim Lien Garment Joint Stock Company (Bac Vinh Industrial Park), made his mark with a series of improvements to streamline production operations. The "right order" initiative helps shorten the time for each product from 240 seconds to 24 seconds, making a profit of more than 60 million VND per product code. Other improvements such as automatic airbag opening or programming the bag mouth sewing also help businesses save tens of millions of VND for each product code.

According to Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor, in the 2020-2025 period, the whole province has more than 92,000 initiatives applied in practice, bringing benefits of hundreds of billions of VND. Trade unions at all levels have proactively appraised, promptly rewarded, protected the rights of authors and supported the implementation of initiatives in production. At the same time, the Youth Union in industrial parks opened many training courses on PLC and 3D design; many groups of workers made their own looms, improved the ribbon, and reduced downtime.

It is the diligence, creativity and competitive spirit that is creating the appearance of a dynamic, developing Nghe An - where the results are measured by productivity, quality and sustainable value for society.

Mr. Kha Van Tam - Chairman of Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor - said that the team of cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and laborers in the province are enthusiastically competing in labor, promoting initiatives, improving techniques, creating many practical values. Patriotic emulation movements, especially the "Good workers, creative workers" movement, have been widely deployed, closely linked to the task of production and business, achieving achievements to celebrate Party Congresses at all levels, towards the National Congress of the Party.

Initiatives drawn from labor practice not only improve productivity, quality, and work efficiency but also demonstrate a sense of responsibility, professional self-respect and the desire to contribute to the development of Nghe An in the new period, Mr. Kha Van Tam emphasized.
