Lam Dong Trade Union establishes 3 more grassroots trade unions in mountainous communes

On January 8, Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation held a ceremony to announce the decision to establish 3 grassroots unions in Tra Tan commune.

This is an area bordering Dong Nai province, where many industrial clusters such as Dong Ha and Nam Ha are concentrated.

The three newly established grassroots trade unions include: Sun Farm Livestock Company Limited's grassroots trade union with 57 union members; Happy Livestock Company Limited's grassroots trade union with 34 union members and Red Box Food Company Limited's grassroots trade union with 14 union members.

In particular, Red Box Food Company Limited is a 100% foreign-invested enterprise, operating in Dong Ha Industrial Cluster.

At the ceremony, Mr. Ho Cong Duong - Vice President of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation presented decisions to establish grassroots unions, decisions to admit union members and appointed the provisional grassroots union executive committee for each unit.

In his speech assigning tasks, Mr. Ho Cong Duong requested the Executive Committees of grassroots trade unions to quickly stabilize the organization, grasp the labor situation, represent the collective of employees to participate in negotiations, and sign collective labor agreements with employers.

At the same time, coordinate with enterprises to develop salary scales, tables, regulations and rules directly related to the legitimate and legal rights and interests of employees.

The leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor also emphasized the role of grassroots trade unions in organizing emulation movements in production labor, contributing to improving productivity, business efficiency, building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises.

According to Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation, these are the first 3 grassroots unions established in Tra Tan commune after Tra Tan commune union was officially established and put into operation from November 21, 2025.

The presence of a trade union organization in Tra Tan commune helps the trade union organization stick close to the grassroots, being a bridge between businesses and workers, especially in mountainous areas and areas with a large number of workers. Thereby helping workers feel secure in sticking with the enterprise for a long time, stabilizing labor relations and promoting socio-economic development in the locality.
