Lam Dong Labor Union sets a target of 90% of enterprises signing labor agreements
Lam Dong - Provincial Trade Union sets a target for the 2025-2030 term to negotiate and sign collective labor agreements in 90% of enterprises and units.
On January 6, Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang - Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation - said that in the 2025-2030 term, the trade union organization will focus on improving welfare and caring for the rights of union members and workers.
The goal is to have 90% of grassroots trade unions in enterprises and representative units negotiate and sign collective labor agreements; at the same time, update and manage on the collective labor agreement library system of the trade union organization.
To achieve this goal, the union identified the breakthrough of the term as strengthening dialogue and improving the quality of collective bargaining, focusing on the following contents: Salary, bonus, working hours - rest, occupational safety and hygiene, value of shift meals...
These are important policies, linked to union members rights and contributing to maintaining harmonious labor relations in enterprises, Mr. Hoang emphasized.
According to Mr. Hoang, in the period of 2023-2025, provincial trade unions at all levels have innovated their methods of operation, focusing on the grassroots, focusing on the needs of workers.
The trade union has encouraged businesses to improve shift meals and include this content in collective labor agreements. To date, 105 businesses have adjusted the value of shift meals.
Most businesses ensure meals from 18,00025,000 VND, many units supplement nutritious foods to improve the health of workers.
To support the grassroots, the union has organized 184 training courses for nearly 24,700 cadres on negotiation, dialogue, inspection and supervision skills. Thanks to that, the role of trade union cadres is promoted, the quality of collective labor agreements is significantly improved.
The agreements have added more beneficial provisions than legal regulations, bringing practical benefits to workers, Mr. Hoang affirmed.
