Lam Dong Labor Union needs to identify digital transformation as a breakthrough task
Lam Dong - The provincial trade union in the new term needs to promote digital transformation and apply science and technology in its activities.
On the afternoon of December 31, at the 1st Lam Dong Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030, Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor gave a speech to direct and suggest the contents for the new term.
According to Mr. Xuan, the 2025 - 2030 term takes place in the context of the country entering a new stage of development, with high requirements for growth quality, digital transformation, green economic development, knowledge economy and extensive international integration.
For Lam Dong province after the merger, there is expanded development space, diverse economic structure and labor force. Trade unions face the need to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, improve representative capacity, care for and protect workers' rights, and meet the requirements of rapid and sustainable development in the new period.
Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor emphasized that the Lam Dong Provincial Trade Union in the new term needs to promote the grassroots orientation, focusing on union members and workers.
Promote dialogue, negotiation, signing and effective implementation of collective labor agreements. In particular, the focus is on salary, bonus, working hours, rest, conditions, working environment, occupational safety and hygiene... to build harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations at the workplace.
Mr. Xuan especially emphasized the promotion of comprehensive digital transformation, innovation, and the application of science and technology in trade union activities, considering this a breakthrough priority for the coming term.
At the same time, focus on developing union members, establishing grassroots unions, especially in the non-state and informal sectors, innovating approaches and methods of mobilization in accordance with the specific conditions of the province.
Patriotic emulation movements among workers and trade unions at all levels, associated with the task of production and business, improving labor productivity.
Thereby encouraging and motivating each union member and employee to constantly innovate, quickly access science and technology, promote technical innovation initiatives in production to meet requirements and tasks.
