Thoroughly grasp the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress and Directive No. 58 of the Secretariat

The conference to study, study, and thoroughly grasp the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, Directive No. 58-CT/TW dated January 10, 2026 of the Secretariat and professional training on propaganda and public opinion work in 2026 was organized by the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union in a direct combined online form, connecting to nearly 230 bridge points in units within the Group.

Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Vice President of the VGCL attended and thoroughly grasped the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party; Directive No. 58-CT/TW dated January 10, 2026 of the Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership over propaganda, political, ideological, and legal education for workers in the new situation.

Opening the Conference, Ms. Nguyen Kim Thanh - Vice President of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union said that the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress has identified major strategic orientations for the country's development in the new period - the period of accelerating digital transformation, developing a green economy, digital economy and deep international integration. For Vietnam Electricity Group, this is both an opportunity and a very big challenge in ensuring national energy security, improving service quality and implementing sustainable energy transition.

Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union emphasized: In that context, the team of trade union officials, union members and workers of the Electricity industry not only needs to be proficient in expertise but also must be politically and ideologically steadfast; have courage in the face of the multi-dimensional impacts of the information environment, especially the strong development of cyberspace and complex issues of public opinion. Directive No. 58-CT/TW of the Secretariat has emphasized the requirement to strengthen the Party's leadership in propaganda, political, ideological, and legal education for workers in the new situation. This poses a very specific responsibility for the trade union organization, especially the team doing propaganda work, in proactively grasping the ideological situation, orienting public opinion, consolidating trust and consensus among workers.

At the Conference, Mr. Vu Trong Ha - Director of Department, Chief of Office of Steering Committee 35, Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission conveyed the topic "Improving the effectiveness of propaganda work, fighting to protect the Party's ideological foundation in the new situation".

Also at the Conference, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union Nguyen Kim Thanh presented the thematic report on Deploying propaganda and education tasks in 2026 of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union.

With the organization of the Conference, leaders of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union proposed that after the Conference, delegates urgently and widely deploy to 100% of officials, union members, and employees at their units in appropriate and effective forms, in accordance with the set requirements.

Each trade union official needs to truly be a solid "bridge" between the Party, professionals and workers; be the core force in propaganda, ideological orientation, contributing to building a contingent of Electricity industry workers with bravery, intelligence, discipline, and responsibility, meeting the development requirements of the Group and the country in the new period.
