Quang Ngai cares for union members with meaningful homes
Quang Ngai - The Provincial Labor Federation awarded "Trade Union Shelter" houses, gave gifts, and supported union members in difficult circumstances to stabilize their lives.
On July 24, the Quang Ngai Provincial Labor Federation said that towards the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026), the unit organizes many practical activities to care for union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers in difficult circumstances.
On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation handed over 4 "Trade Union Shelter" houses from the Charity Fund to support union members and workers of Quang Ngai Provincial Trade Union to union members of grassroots trade unions: Kon Ray Regional Hospital, Nghia Hanh Medical Center, Minh Long Medical Center and Kon Tum Construction and Traffic Works Management Joint Stock Company. In which, supporting the construction of 2 new houses (50 million VND/house) and supporting the repair of 2 houses (30 million VND/house).
In addition, the Provincial Labor Federation visited, congratulated and presented gifts to 3 union members whose houses were newly built with the support of businesses and grassroots trade unions, belonging to Hyundai ECO Vina Co., Ltd., Quang Ngai Sugar Joint Stock Company and Kingmaker III (Vietnam) Footwear Co., Ltd.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation acknowledged and praised the companionship and responsibility of businesses and grassroots trade unions in caring for the material and spiritual lives of workers. At the same time, it wished that units would continue to closely coordinate with the Trade Union organization in effectively implementing regimes and policies for workers, especially union members in difficult circumstances.
The "Trade Union Shelter" housing program not only helps union members stabilize their accommodation, alleviate difficulties, and contributes to spreading the spirit of solidarity and mutual affection, but also shows concern and sharing, while affirming the role of the Trade Union organization in caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
