Lunch meal worth 92,000 VND/portion for more than 300 workers in Ninh Binh
Ninh Binh - On July 21, more than 300 workers at Jeil Kovi Vina Co., Ltd. participated in the "Trade Union Meal" program, worth 92,000 VND/portion.
On the occasion of the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026), on July 21, Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with Jeil Kovi Vina Co., Ltd. (belonging to Khanh Phu Industrial Park, Dong Hoa Lu ward, Ninh Binh province) to organize the "Trade Union Meal" program for more than 300 workers.
Each meal is worth 92,000 VND, an increase of 70,000 VND compared to the daily meal. In which, the Provincial Labor Federation supports 50,000 VND/meal; the rest is supported by businesses and the company's grassroots trade union.
Mr. Vu Hong Minh - Vice Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation - said that the program is organized to improve the quality of lunch meals for workers, and at the same time create a close and cohesive atmosphere between workers, trade union organizations and businesses.
Through this activity, Trade Union levels also have the opportunity to grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers, thereby promptly proposing solutions to care for and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers" - Mr. Minh shared.
On this occasion, the Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation presented 20 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances. Each gift is worth 800,000 VND.
It is known that the "Trade Union Meal" program in 2026, the Provincial Labor Federation will organize at 3 enterprises in industrial parks, where there are grassroots trade unions and enterprises maintaining daily meals. Each selected enterprise has a maximum scale of 2,000 union members and employees and an additional support level for meals of up to 50,000 VND/meal.
In addition to organizing meals, the Provincial Labor Federation has prepared 1,200 gifts, each worth 800,000 VND, to give to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
Specifically for grassroots trade unions, when sufficient conditions are met, it is necessary to agree with employers to organize "Trade Union Meals", considering this as a specific and practical activity to care for the material life and health of employees.
