Vinh Long Trade Union develops 1,036 new union members
Vinh Long - Vinh Long Trade Union develops 1,036 union members, and at the same time implements many activities to care for workers and consolidate the organization.
According to a report by the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ), from September 21 - 27, 2026, the whole province newly developed 1,036 union members, raising the total number of union members being managed to 182,065 people, belonging to 667 grassroots trade unions, grassroots trade unions, and professional unions.
Among the newly developed union members, Ty Xuan Co., Ltd. has 353 union members, Provincial Social Insurance has 458 union members, An Phuoc Food Co., Ltd. has 210 union members and New Technology Joint Stock Company has 15 union members.
Along with developing union members, Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation continues to consolidate the Trade Union organization. During the week, the unit organized a conference to establish grassroots trade unions at An Phuoc Food Co., Ltd. and Provincial Social Insurance; and at the same time approved the policy of consolidating personnel at 4 grassroots trade unions.
The Provincial Labor Federation also implemented documents of the Provincial Party Committee on strengthening leadership over the work of participating in Party building, developing union members, and establishing grassroots trade unions; organized inspections of the compliance with the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union at some grassroots trade unions.
On September 26-27, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation organized professional training for Trade Union officials in 2026. The unit also organized a delegation of athletes, workers, civil servants, and laborers to participate in the first Vinh Long Provincial Sports Festival with 7 sports.
The work of caring for union members, workers and children of union members continues to be focused on by grassroots trade unions. During the week, grassroots trade unions presented gifts to 14,000 turns of union members and workers with a total budget of more than 2.7 billion VND.
Mid-Autumn Festival activities were organized with a total budget of more than 1.738 billion VND, awarding more than 11,476 gifts and 17 scholarships to disadvantaged students. The grassroots trade union of Ty Xuan Co., Ltd. alone awarded 10,262 gifts, with a total budget of more than 1 billion VND.
