Grassroots trade unions in Da Nang spread safety culture in businesses

News from the Trade Union of Hoi An Tay ward, Da Nang city on October 3rd said: The grassroots trade union of Victoria Hoi An Co., Ltd. (under the Trade Union of Hoi An Tay ward) in coordination with businesses organizes periodic training on occupational safety and health (OSH) for officials, employees and workers in the company.

The program aims to update and consolidate knowledge and skills on OSH; improve the ability to identify risks and factors that may cause unsafety in the working process.

Through this, workers proactively implement risk prevention measures, protect their health and lives and those of colleagues, contributing to limiting accidents and incidents at the workplace.

Through training, workers are emphasized to comply with working procedures, use protective equipment correctly, proactively detect unsafe risks and promptly remind and support colleagues to jointly implement regulations on OSH.

This is also one of the practical activities of grassroots trade unions in performing the function of caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.

The Trade Union accompanies businesses to build a safe, healthy, and professional working environment; and at the same time raise the awareness and responsibility of each worker towards OSH.
