According to Ms. Tham, the contents that workers are particularly interested in are sick leave, maternity leave, recovery leave after illness or maternity leave, as well as medical examination and treatment benefits with health insurance. These are all policies that directly affect the income, health and lives of workers.
Especially for female workers, understanding the conditions for enjoying maternity benefits, leave time, benefit level and necessary documents helps them be more proactive when carrying out procedures. Meanwhile, sickness benefits are also an issue of concern to many workers, especially when they have to quit their jobs for treatment or taking care of sick children.
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Van Dinh - Director of Quynh Phu Grassroots Social Insurance, Hung Yen province, said that implementing the direction of Vietnam Social Insurance, Provincial Social Insurance and local Party committees and authorities, the unit determines that supporting businesses and workers to implement policies is one of the key tasks.
According to Mr. Dinh, with the motto of taking businesses and employees as the center of service, the social insurance agency focuses on enhancing responsibility, reforming administrative procedures and supporting all parties in the policy implementation process.
In addition, propaganda work needs to be carried out regularly, helping employers fully understand the responsibility to participate and pay insurance for employees; and at the same time help workers understand their legitimate and lawful rights and interests.
Strengthen propaganda, ensure rights
Over the past time, Hung Yen Provincial Social Insurance has continued to promote propaganda and dissemination of policies and laws on social insurance, unemployment insurance (BHTN), and health insurance to raise awareness and responsibility of employers and employees in implementing social security policies.
In the last months of 2026, the Provincial Social Insurance will organize a conference to propagate and disseminate policies and laws on social insurance, unemployment insurance, and health insurance to employees and employers. The activity aims to help units promptly update new regulations and proactively organize and implement them in accordance with legal regulations.
