Propaganda on drug prevention and control for 200 workers in Thanh Hoa

On November 2nd, Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation said that it had just organized a conference to propagate and raise legal awareness and knowledge of drug prevention and control for 200 workers of Acuario Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd., in Hoa Loc commune.

At the conference, workers were disseminated legal regulations on drug prevention and control; how to identify new types of drugs, especially drugs hidden under many sophisticated forms. At the same time, workers learned about the harmful effects of drugs on health, family life, employment and social order and safety.

Reporters also guide skills to recognize and prevent risks, proactively protect themselves, their families and the community from drug dangers. Propaganda content is transmitted live, combined with video screenings, reports and skits "Repelling drugs for the safety and happiness of workers", helping workers raise vigilance, awareness of law compliance and responsibility to participate in drug prevention and control at workplaces and residences.

The highlight of the program is 200 workers of Acuario Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd. signing commitments to respond to the campaign "Vietnamese workers say no to drugs". Through this, workers show their determination not to use, store, transport, or illegally trade drugs; proactively detect and denounce violations of the law, contributing to preventing drug evils from entering businesses and the community.

Through this activity, the Trade Union organization continues to promote its role in propaganda, raising legal awareness, accompanying and protecting workers; contributing to building a safe, healthy working environment without drugs.
