Mr. Nguyen Hong Nam elected Chairman of Chanh Hiep Ward Trade Union
Ho Chi Minh City - Mr. Nguyen Hong Nam - Party Committee member, former Deputy Head of the Party Building Committee of Chanh Hiep Ward Party Committee was elected as Chairman of the Trade Union of Chanh Hiep Ward.
On October 31st, the Executive Committee of Chanh Hiep Ward Trade Union held a conference to elect additional members of the Executive Committee, members of the Standing Committee and the title of Chairman of Chanh Hiep Ward Trade Union term I, term 2025 - 2030.
Attending the conference were Mr. Dao Tran Dong - Member of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, Chairman of the Trade Union of Industrial Park No. 4; Ms. Truong Thi Thu Hien - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ward Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Cong Ly - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Party Building Committee of the Ward Party Committee, in charge of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the Ward; along with leaders of socio-political organizations of the ward and members of the Executive Committee of the Ward Trade Union.
At the conference, the Ward Trade Union Executive Committee carried out the process of electing additional members of the Executive Committee, members of the Standing Committee and the title of Chairman of Chanh Hiep Ward Trade Union term I, term 2025 - 2030 according to regulations.
As a result, Mr. Nguyen Hong Nam - Party Committee member, former Deputy Head of the Party Building Committee of the Ward Party Committee was additionally elected to the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and held the position of Chairman of the Trade Union of Chanh Hiep Ward, term I, term 2025 - 2030.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Nam was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Ward Trade Union replacing Ms. Nguyen Thi Truc Chi - former Chairman of the Ward Trade Union, who has been transferred and appointed to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Party Building Committee of the Ward Party Committee.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Dao Tran Dong requested the Executive Committee of Chanh Hiep Ward Trade Union to quickly stabilize the organization after consolidating personnel, promote the spirit of solidarity and responsibility, ensure that trade union activities are deployed continuously, effectively and meet the requirements of the assigned tasks.
Mr. Dao Tran Dong requested the Ward Trade Union to proactively develop plans, coordinate with agencies, units, and businesses to implement practical activities, promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers, contributing to ensuring the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers. At the same time, take good care of the lives of union members during the upcoming Lunar New Year.
