LG Innotek Hai Phong launches socialist grassroots trade union model

LG Innotek Vietnam Hai Phong Co., Ltd. is a 100% Korean-invested enterprise, operating in Trang Due Industrial Park since 2016. The enterprise specializes in producing cameras for mobile phones, currently creating jobs for more than 6,200 workers. 100% of workers are trade union members.

Through review according to the standards and criteria of the model, the LG Innotek Hai Phong Trade Union currently achieved 88/100 points. In which, the group of caring for and protecting the rights of union members and workers achieved a maximum of 35/35 points.

One of the highlights is that the enterprise's collective labor agreement is classified as A, with many contents beneficial to employees in terms of salary, bonuses, allowances, working hours, lunch meals, benefits and regimes for female workers. Workers are entitled to a starting salary of 6.55 million VND/person/month; are supported with a minimum lunch meal of 30,000 VND and a breakfast of 25,000 VND. The company also maintains many allowances, bonus regimes and policies to support workers' families.

Speaking to direct, Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet - Standing Vice Chairman of the City Labor Federation requested the Company's Trade Union to continue to improve the quality of representation, care and protection of workers' rights; coordinate with businesses to improve skills and ability to adapt to technology; and at the same time promote the movement of initiative and improvement associated with productivity, quality and income of workers. Thereby, contributing to building harmonious and stable labor relations, improving the quality of workers' jobs as well as the process of expanding investment and production development in Hai Phong of LG Innotek.

On this occasion, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation presented 30 gifts to union members in difficult circumstances; organized propaganda on preventing fraud through cyberspace for union members and workers.
