Trade unions take care of families of union members and workers
When the family feels the care of the place where their loved one is working, the connection no longer stops at the individual worker. Belief and pride in the unit are also spread to the loved ones behind each official.
That is what the grassroots Trade Union in the Vietnam Bank for Investment and Development (BIDV) system is doing.
Caring for the support of workers
Behind each official, union member, and worker is a family. There are parents, grandparents - people who have dedicated their whole lives to love, nurture, encourage and create a rear so that everyone can feel secure in studying, working, and contributing.
Therefore, caring for workers is not only ensuring rights, regimes or building a good working environment, but also paying attention to the values that create peace of mind and happiness for each person. With that spirit, many BIDV units have implemented activities to express gratitude to the elderly with practical and close approaches.
In which, the BIDV Ban Me grassroots Trade Union coordinated with the Youth Union to visit and give gifts to elderly people who are parents of officials and employees working at the Branch. Through sincere greetings and meaningful gifts, the unit expressed its gratitude to the parents - those who are always a solid rear for officials and employees to feel secure in their work and complete their tasks well.
At BIDV Ben Tre, gratitude activities are maintained annually with 162 gifts for grandparents, parents and elderly relatives of officials and employees. Branch leaders directly visit and give gifts to some families, and send best wishes to families with elderly people...
Bridge connecting love
Reality shows that each unit has different ways of doing things, but share the common meaning of bringing the concern of organizations and units closer to the families of employees. It can be said that at BIDV, the Project "Building BIDV as a Happy Bank for Employees" is not only about creating a professional and effective workplace, but also about building a humane environment, where each person is cared for, recognized and shared.
Therefore, the happiness of employees is also the peace of mind when their family and their loved ones are loved and cherished. This is the first time BIDV has built an overall program on employee happiness and experience on a system-wide scale, marking a new step forward in the strategy of human resource development and consolidating corporate culture with people at the center.
In that Happy Bank, grassroots trade unions are an important bridge because they have the conditions to be closest to union members and workers to grasp the thoughts, lives and needs of officials; to advise and coordinate with Party committees and professional departments to organize appropriate care activities.
Also through the grassroots trade union, the concern of unit leaders is concretized to suit the reality of the unit. For example, a gift, a letter or a small greeting, but it expresses the message: BIDV respects employees and respects those who have contributed to creating a support for them.
That care is implemented comprehensively and effectively when there is coordination between the Trade Union, Party committees, professional departments and the Youth Union. In particular, care activities are not only aimed at the material and spiritual life of workers but also care for families - one of the important foundations creating stability and attachment. When families feel the care of the place where their loved ones are working, the connection no longer stops at the individual workers.
