An Giang promotes drug prevention and control for workers

On the afternoon of October 9th, at An Giang Samho Co., Ltd. (Binh Hoa Industrial Park - Binh Hoa commune), the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the Provincial Police and the Provincial Population Sub-Department to organize a propaganda conference on drug prevention and control, social evils and population and development work in 2026.

At the conference, An Giang Provincial Police informed about the drug situation, methods and tricks to lure and seduce drug users; and at the same time guided how to identify risks, proactively prevent them, contributing to building a safe and healthy working environment.

In the population and development topic, workers are provided with information on the Party and State's guidelines and policies; knowledge of reproductive health care, contributing to raising awareness and proactively protecting their own and family's health.

At the end of the propaganda session, the Provincial Police also requested each worker to resolutely say no to drugs, actively become propagandists, and mobilize relatives to comply with the law in general and the Law on Drug Prevention and Control in particular. At the same time, it is necessary to care for, encourage, share, and help people after detoxification reintegrate into the community, not discriminate, alienate, and create conditions for them to stabilize their lives and avoid relapse.

Through activities, the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation continues to diversify forms of propaganda, bringing legal knowledge and health care closer to union members and workers, contributing to improving the quality of life and building a safe and healthy working environment.
