Politburo renames the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and central mass organizations

On behalf of the Politburo, Politburo Member, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu signed Decision No. 492-QD/TW dated October 16 on renaming the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and central mass organizations to the Party Committee of Mass Mobilization, the Front and central mass organizations.

Decision No. 492-QD/TW clearly states the bases: Party Charter; Working Regulations of the 14th Central Executive Committee, Politburo and Secretariat; Resolution No. 28-NQ/TW, dated October 8, 2026 of the 4th Conference of the 14th Central Executive Committee of the Party; Considering the proposal of the Central Organization Committee.

The Politburo decided to rename the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, central mass organizations to the Party Committee of Mass Mobilization, the Front and central mass organizations.

The Party Committee for Mass Mobilization, the Fatherland Front and central mass organizations, the Central Organization Committee, the Party Central Committee Office and relevant agencies shall, based on their functions and tasks, coordinate in arranging the organizational structure, assigning and arranging cadres, civil servants, and employees; building the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Party Committee for Mass Mobilization, the Fatherland Front and central mass organizations to submit to the Politburo for consideration and decision.
