12 more grassroots trade unions launched, developing 352 new union members in wards in Da Nang
Da Nang - Hoa Xuan Ward Trade Union (Da Nang) organized the launch of 12 grassroots trade unions and admitted 352 workers to the Trade Union organization.
On the morning of October 11, Hoa Xuan Ward Trade Union said that the unit had organized a Conference to announce the decision to establish and launch the Executive Committee of 12 grassroots trade unions (CĐCS). This time, 352 workers were admitted to the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
At the ceremony, leaders delegates presented the decision to establish, the decision to recognize the Executive Committee and presented flowers to congratulate 12 newly established grassroots trade unions. In this phase, 352 workers at enterprises officially joined the Trade Union organization.
According to representatives of Hoa Xuan Ward Trade Union, the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions in the non-state sector has always been identified as the top priority task. Since the beginning of the year, the Ward Trade Union has actively propagated and mobilized the establishment of 30 new grassroots trade unions, admitting an additional 836 trade union members, contributing to completing and exceeding the assigned union member development targets.
Speaking to assign tasks to new grassroots trade unions, leaders of Hoa Xuan Ward Trade Union sent congratulations to the Executive Committees and all union members and workers; and emphasized: The Executive Committees of grassroots trade unions need to quickly stabilize the organization, build working regulations, and promote the role of a bridge to represent and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
In addition, the Trade Union organization needs to proactively coordinate closely with business owners to well implement grassroots democracy regulations, build harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations, and work with businesses to overcome difficulties, improve labor productivity and aim for the sustainable development of businesses as well as localities.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, Hoa Xuan Ward Trade Union organized a professional training conference for new trade union officials. Delegates were disseminated basic skills on organizing trade union activities at the grassroots level and professional guidance on trade union financial management in accordance with current regulations, helping new grassroots trade union officials quickly grasp professional skills and operate effectively.
