Dakruco links sustainable development with caring for workers

On September 24, Dak Lak Rubber Joint Stock Company (Dakruco) held an extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) in 2026 to consider and approve a number of important contents related to the management organization model and key personnel.

At the congress, Dakruco's Board of Directors also submitted to the General Meeting of Shareholders for consideration and approval the dismissal of Mr. Nguyen Viet Tuong from the position of member of the Board of Directors for the 2023-2028 term due to retirement according to regulations.
At the same time, Mr. Le Danh Thang - Secretary of the Party Committee, representative of state capital at Dakruco - was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company.
Speaking after taking office, Mr. Le Danh Thang - Chairman of Dakruco's Board of Directors said that in the coming time, Dakruco will continue to innovate management work, improve the efficiency of land use and resources; and increase product value, investment efficiency and team quality.
The overarching principle is that investment must be effective, preserve and develop capital, strictly control risks, and be consistent with the Company's general development strategy.
According to Mr. Thang, in the context of a competitive market, Dakruco will focus on deep processing, brand building, market expansion, and product quality improvement to increase value per hectare of land, capital unit and employees.
The company also orients towards developing high-tech agriculture, green agriculture, circular economy, researching values from carbon credits, environment and ecosystem services.
For investment activities in Laos and Cambodia, Dakruco will review the effectiveness of each project, area and investment to determine development directions and focus resources appropriately.
In addition, the company continues to focus on building a team of cadres with qualities, capacity and sense of responsibility; paying attention to the lives, income, and working conditions of employees. At the same time, it promotes the spirit of solidarity, transparency, towards the goal of sustainable development," Mr. Thang emphasized.
Dakruco is a unit under the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee with a total of 2,520 employees. Of which, ethnic minority workers account for more than 50% of the total labor force. The number of trade union members is about 2,200 people.
