Festival of more than 500 female union members and workers in Hue
Hue - More than 500 female union members and workers participate in the festival with many practical health care, support and welfare activities.
On the morning of October 11, the Hue City Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) organized the 2026 Women Union Members and Employees' Day with the theme "Love - Sharing and Accompanying", attracting more than 500 female union members and employees to participate.
This is an activity to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2026), and at the same time create a space for female union members and workers to exchange, connect, take care of their health, beautify themselves, receive psychological counseling and access welfare programs.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Tran Thi Kim Loan - City Party Committee Member, Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Hue City, Chairwoman of Hue City LDF - said that the festival is an opportunity for female union members and workers to exchange, share experiences, access health care activities and practical welfare programs. Thereby, contributing to encouraging and motivating women to be more confident, promote their abilities, and balance work and family life.
One of the key activities of the festival is the program to give gifts to support female union members and workers in particularly difficult circumstances, suffering from dangerous diseases, and raising children alone. The support aims to share difficulties and add motivation for women to rise up in life.
Within the framework of the festival, Hue City Labor Federation also signed a cooperation agreement to implement the 2026 Trade Union Member Welfare Program with 3 units including Niem Tin 17.4 Co., Ltd., Hue International General Hospital and Phuong Ty Tourism Transport Co., Ltd.. Through this, union members and workers have more opportunities to access quality services, preferential policies, health care and improve their quality of life.
The festival also arranges many social security booths, experience areas, health care with activities of physical and mental health counseling, beauty, free health check-ups and examinations; introducing local products and preferential programs for union members and workers.
Female union members also participated in exchanges and communication about reproductive health care, sexual health; participated in talk shows "Confidence - Health - Radiance", beauty consultations and lucky draw activities. Free health check-up and consultation areas are maintained throughout the program to help women proactively prevent diseases and take better care of themselves.
According to the Hue City Labor Federation, the festival not only contributes to caring for the material and spiritual life of female union members and workers, but also spreads the joint efforts and companionship of agencies, units, and businesses in welfare activities for workers.
