Cam Duong Trade Union presents loving ao dai to female union members in difficult circumstances
Lao Cai - The program of Cam Duong Trade Union brings traditional costumes closer to female union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
On October 10th, information from the Cam Duong Ward Trade Union said that the unit had received and classified 133 sets of ao dai to send to female union members and workers in difficult circumstances; and directly handed over 10 sets of ao dai to female union members of the grassroots Trade Union of the Ward Market Management Board.
The activity is to respond to the "Ao Dai of Love" program launched by the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation, on the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2026) and Vietnamese Women's Day October 20th.
Accordingly, 133 sets of ao dai after being received, sorted, and packaged were sent to the Provincial Labor Federation to be awarded to female union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the area.
Along with that, Cam Duong Ward Trade Union presented 10 sets of ao dai to female union members of the grassroots Trade Union of Cam Duong Ward Market Management Board.
Although ao dai do not have great material value, they have the meaning of spiritual encouragement, helping women have more conditions to use traditional costumes during holidays, conferences and important events.
The program contributes to spreading the spirit of mutual affection and love among union members and workers; honoring the beauty of Vietnamese women and preserving the traditional cultural values of the ao dai.
Through activities, Cam Duong Ward Trade Union continues to show concern and care for the material and spiritual lives of female union members and workers with practical actions, contributing to building a close, responsible and humane Trade Union organization.
