Xuan Cam Commune Trade Union honors female union members through talent contest

The first "Charming and Talented Female Union Member and Worker of Xuan Cam Commune" contest in 2026 was organized with the participation of 16 contestants from 11 grassroots trade unions.

This is a practical activity towards celebrating Vietnamese Women's Day October 20th, contributing to caring for the spiritual life, honoring the beauty and talent of female union members and workers.

Attending the contest were Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Vice Chairman of Bac Ninh City Labor Federation; Mr. Hoang Cong Bo - Chairman of Xuan Cam Commune People's Council; local leaders, representatives of agencies, units, businesses and a large number of union members and workers.

Mr. Do Van Trong - Chairman of Xuan Cam Commune Trade Union, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest emphasized that the contest is an opportunity to honor the beauty, talent and good qualities of female union members and workers; affirming the image of modern Vietnamese women "Confident - Self-respecting - Loyal - Skillful".

Through the contest, the Commune Trade Union wishes to strengthen exchanges and connections between grassroots trade unions, and at the same time spread love for ao dai and awareness of preserving traditional cultural values.

The contestants competed in three parts: greeting, ao dai performance and talent. With serious preparation in terms of content, costumes and performance skills, the contestants brought rich performances, showing the confidence, creativity and enthusiasm of female union members and workers.

In the greeting section, contestants introduce themselves, units, businesses and the working environment, contributing to promoting the image of businesses and grassroots trade union activities. Stories about work and attachment to the collective help the audience understand more about the lives, thoughts and aspirations of female union members and workers in the area.

The ao dai performance is the highlight of the program, highlighting the graceful and elegant beauty of Vietnamese women. Ao dai sets with rich colors and patterns send messages about love for the homeland, national pride and solidarity.

Through each performance, the contestants show the image of women who cherish traditional values, while being dynamic and confident in modern life.

Assessing the contest, the Organizing Committee acknowledged the responsible coordination of grassroots trade unions, the serious preparation of contestants and the fair and objective working spirit of the Judging Panel. What remained after the contest was also the joy, confidence and solidarity between female union members and workers in the common house of Xuan Cam Trade Union.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 3 A prizes, 5 B prizes, 8 C prizes and 3 sub-prizes for the contestants with the best greeting, the most beautiful ao dai performance and the best talent competition.
