Trade union accompanies, hospitals join hands to care for the health of female union members
Gia Lai - Thong Nhat Ward Trade Union coordinates with the hospital to provide consultation, reproductive health care and free breast cancer screening for female union members and workers.
Towards the celebration of Vietnamese Women's Day October 20th, the program is organized to help female union members improve their knowledge, proactively prevent diseases, detect early abnormal signs and pay more attention to their own health.
According to the plan, the program takes place from 8:00 AM on October 14, 2026 at the hall of Hoang Anh Gia Lai University Medical Center Hospital, with 100 female union members and workers from grassroots trade unions and grassroots trade unions directly under Thong Nhat Ward Trade Union participating.
At the conference, doctors will advise on reproductive health, gynecological health, common diseases, abnormal signs and preventive measures. Content about HPV, cervical cancer and breast cancer is also provided, helping women better understand the risk factors, signs to note and the meaning of early detection.
Participants can directly exchange with doctors about health issues of concern. For sensitive content, the program receives anonymous questions to create conditions for women to boldly share.
In particular, after the workshop, this private hospital will have a free breast cancer screening ultrasound program for 100 female union members and workers participating in the program.
According to Ms. Truong Thi My Le - Chairwoman of Thong Nhat Ward Trade Union, the program is not only an activity to care for on the occasion of October 20th but also contributes to helping female union members proactively protect their health.
