Thanh Hoa Trade Union accompanies businesses, caring for workers
Thanh Hoa - From jobs, income to skills, spiritual life, Thanh Hoa Trade Union is taking care of workers' activities deeper into businesses.
Coordination from pressing issues
On October 8th, in an exchange with Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Luong Trong Thanh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, Chairman of Thanh Hoa Labor Federation, said that concretizing the Resolutions of the General Confederation as well as of the Provincial Party Committee, Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation and Hoa Loi Group have signed the Coordination Regulations for the period 2026-2030, focusing on many contents directly related to employment, income, skills and the lives of workers.
According to Mr. Luong Trong Thanh, the goal of signing the Coordination Regulation is to create a mechanism for Trade Unions and businesses to jointly grasp and handle issues related to workers right from the grassroots level.
Prominent issues such as salaries, bonuses, overtime hours, meals, social insurance, working conditions and labor safety will be monitored and grasped for timely handling.

Mr. Luong Trong Thanh said that the requirement is not to wait until disputes arise to get involved. Employees' recommendations and problems need to be detected early, proactively prevented, and clear focal points for handling identified; cases beyond authority or at risk of complexity must be promptly coordinated to resolve.
According to the Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation, protecting workers is not just an intervention when their rights have been affected. More importantly, it helps workers have stable jobs, work in a safe environment, have the opportunity to improve their skills, increase income and have mechanisms for their voices to be received and resolved.
In the opposite direction, businesses have a skilled, disciplined, stable and attached workforce, improving productivity, product quality and competitiveness.

Five models directly aimed at workers
A noteworthy point in the Coordination Regulation for the period 2026-2030 is the identification of 5 specific models, instead of just stopping at general coordination contents.
In which, the model "Thanh Hoa Excellent Worker Contest" aims to promote the movement of vocational training, vocational training, skilled worker competition, promoting initiatives and technical improvements among workers.
Skills results are not only recorded at the contest but can also become a reference basis for businesses to train, arrange jobs, raise ranks, reward and create career development opportunities for workers.
The "Legal Consulting Group" model brings consulting activities closer to workers. Proposals are received right from the grassroots level, classified for handling or transferred to competent agencies and units, thereby limiting small obstacles accumulating into complex labor disputes.
With the "Worker Cultural Space" model, care activities are expanded from jobs and salaries to spiritual life. Workers have more space to study, practice sports, cultural exchange, access information and legal advice near their workplace and residence.

The model "Trade Union officials are Party Cell Secretaries" aims to discover and train capable and reputable Trade Union officials and union members, thereby promoting their core role in the enterprise.
Meanwhile, "Model Grassroots Trade Union - Exemplary Trade Union Member" focuses on practical effectiveness in representing, caring for, dialogue, initiatives, labor productivity and union member welfare.
According to Mr. Luong Trong Thanh, each model after implementation must create visible and measurable results.
The models are designed to complement each other. Workers improve their skills, receive legal advice, and care for cultural life; thereby continuing to discover good workers, outstanding union members and reputable officials to foster them into the core force at the enterprise.
The implementation of the Regulation is also placed within the requirement of "6 clear, 1 consistent": clear people, clear tasks, clear time, clear responsibilities, clear authority, clear products and having a consistent monitoring focal point.
Mr. Lo Huai Sung - Deputy General Director of Hoa Loi Group expects 5 models to be implemented in the 2026-2030 period to create changes in skills, life, legal advice as well as discover and nurture outstanding workers and union members.
From coordinating with a large labor-using enterprise like Hoa Loi Group, Thanh Hoa Trade Union expects that practically effective models will continue to be improved and replicated at other businesses in the province.
