Lao Cai Trade Union supervises the ensuring of the rights of health workers
Lao Cai - On October 13th, the Provincial Labor Federation informed that the unit has just completed the supervision of the implementation of grassroots democracy regulations at 9 health units.
The supervisory delegation was headed by Mr. Nguyen Hong Thoan - Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation, with the participation of representatives of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Provincial Social Insurance and the Department of Home Affairs.
The supervised units include: General Hospital No. 1, General Hospital No. 2, General Hospital No. 4, Lao Cai Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, Lao Cai Provincial Endocrinology Hospital, Mu Cang Chai Regional Health Center, Tran Yen Regional Health Center, Luc Yen Regional Health Center and Van Chan Regional Health Center.
The activity is implemented based on Decision No. 217 dated December 12, 2013 of the Politburo on promulgating the Regulation on supervision and social criticism of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations; Project No. 05 dated December 29, 2025 of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee on promoting the strength of national unity, improving the quality of supervision, social criticism, and participating in building a strong Party and government in 2026.
At the working sessions, the delegation focused on supervising the implementation of the Law on Implementation of Democracy at the Grassroots level; the responsibility of labor-using units to the Trade Union organization; the implementation of regimes and policies for labor...
Through supervision, the delegation assessed the law compliance situation at units, and at the same time identified existing problems, limitations, difficulties, and obstacles to propose solutions to overcome them.
The supervision process is carried out in a democratic, public, objective, and regulated manner, ensuring that it does not affect the professional activities of medical facilities.
This is a practical activity to promote the representative role, protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of the Trade Union organization for union members and workers.
Thereby, contributing to improving the effectiveness of law enforcement at the workplace, building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations.
