14 employees of BNG Agency Company have been waiting for nearly 10 months and have not been paid
14 workers reflected that they are owed about 138 million VND in salary by BNG Agency Company, some people have been waiting for nearly 10 months and have not been paid.
Nearly 10 months of waiting for salary
Reflecting to Lao Dong Newspaper, Ms. Nguyen Linh Nhung said that she had waited many times for BNG Agency Media and Technology Co., Ltd. (Bảng Agency Company, registered tax address at Giai Phong Street, Tuong Mai Ward, Hanoi City) to pay the remaining salary amount.
In September 2025, after seeing recruitment information for a Content Marketing position posted on the TopCV platform, Ms. Nhung applied for a job. After the interview, the company announced that it would hire her by email on September 24, 2025, with a salary of 11 million VND and other benefits.
On November 24, 2025, the company announced that the project being implemented had to be temporarily suspended. On November 29, 2025, the Administration - Human Resources Department sent Ms. Nhung a temporary salary scale for October 2025, with the actual amount received being more than 8.2 million VND. The company also paid about 4.1 million VND.
According to Ms. Nhung, the remaining amount was committed to be paid by the Director of BNG Agency Company, Mr. Nguyen Danh Dai, in the second installment on December 5, 2025. However, to date, she has not been paid the remaining salary amount.
Also falling into a similar situation, Ms. Nguyen Thach Thao (born 2001, residing in Vinh Tuy ward, Hanoi City) said that on November 29, 2025, the Department of Administration - Human Resources sent a temporary salary scale for October 2025, with the actual amount received being more than 9.7 million VND. The company also paid about 4.8 million VND.
According to workers' estimates, a total of 14 people who used to work at BNG Agency Company were owed wages in 3 phases, with a total amount of about 138 million VND. Among these, 11 people are in probation; 3 people have finished their probation period and moved to official employment but reflect that they have not been signed labor contracts by the company and have not been paid social insurance.
Department of Home Affairs guides employees to resolve
Because the salary debt issue has not been resolved, these workers have sent petitions to the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs and received instructions on how to resolve it.
On March 12, 2026, the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs issued a document guiding the settlement of Ms. Thao's petition and the collective of employees of BNG Agency Company. The Department of Home Affairs instructed Ms. Thao to send the petition directly to the employer to complain according to the order, procedures and authority to resolve the first-time complaint according to regulations.
According to the guidance of the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs, Ms. Thao can send a request to resolve personal labor disputes according to the provisions of the 2019 Labor Code.
I continued to send a petition to the Culture and Social Department of Tuong Mai ward (Hanoi) but was asked to redo it. But frankly, I and many workers are tired of waiting for the company as well as Mr. Dai's personal response. The amount of money each person does not have much, but it is the effort of the workers" - Ms. Thao said.
As of October 2, 2026, nearly 10 months after the company committed to pay the second installment, Ms. Thao said that the remaining salary has not been paid.
During the process of finding information, Lao Dong Newspaper reporters came to address No. 85 Vuong Thua Vu (Hanoi City) to contact the company to verify the content reflected by the employee. However, the company no longer operates at this address.
The reporter then contacted Director of BNG Agency Company Nguyen Danh Dai by phone to schedule a meeting and exchange views on the case. Mr. Dai said that he did not have time to work directly with the reporter and requested that if information was needed, he should send an official letter or contact the company.
After the reporter asked him to provide an email to send the content of the question, Mr. Dai replied "wait for me a bit, I'll find the email" and said that the case had been discussed with the local authorities. "Actually, I'm saying this, you guys understand, I have a lot of work and I can't work on this side or that side. I'll say it to you right away. Secondly, I'm working with the ward. How the ward resolves and handles it, the ward will discuss it. And I have no work or responsibility to work with the newspaper. If side A and side B keep contacting me like that, it will take a lot of time, right?" - Mr. Dai said.
After that, Mr. Dai also did not provide any emails to reporters to contact for work.
In related developments, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper on October 3rd, an official of the Culture and Social Affairs Department of Tuong Mai ward said that the ward recently received a letter of complaint from a collective of workers who were owed wages according to the guidance of the Department of Home Affairs. However, the ward has never had a direct working session with Mr. Nguyen Danh Dai.
